Global Brigades is the world’s largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. Comprised of secular international service programs, we mobilize student volunteers and professionals to empower communities in developing countries with programs that improve quality of life while respecting local culture.
Last year, 4,200 volunteers from 160 university chapters in the U.S. and six other countries traveled to provide health and economic development solutions to more than 60,000 beneficiaries through our teams in Panama, Honduras, and Ghana.
The Wash U chapter of Global Brigades is growing steadily. We started with one brigade per year almost a decade ago, and now send seven brigades each year, covering the spectrum of avenues of aiding developing communities, from medical to microfinance. We are proud to offer a diverse range of Brigades, and cannot wait for another great year of service and fun!
